Dear Student,
Thank you for applying to study with us at the University of Melbourne. We appreciate your patience and are now able to provide you with updated information on the status of your application.
Due to an unprecedented volume of high quality applications – from within Australia and internationally – we have reached full capacity in our courses within the Melbourne Business School, and have had to make the difficult decision to suspend applications for your elected program in the first semester of 2016. This decision was taken to protect your student experience in the classroom, and ensure adequate access to teaching and facilities.
While your application will not be assessed for the semester one intake of next year, it will be automatically rolled over and considered for entry into our semester two intake which commences on July 25th. We will assess your application with priority and be able to advise you on the status by April 30th. Alternatively, you can nominate a different course preference in another Faculty. If you would like to be considered for this course in Semester 1 we can forward your application to this Faculty for assessment. You can view the range of programs on offer at this location, or you can email Kellee Graham and they will be able to provide you with counselling about your study options. Please let us know which option you would like to choose by the 24th of December. If you no longer wish to be considered for study at the University of Melbourne, please also email Kellee Graham. We will then withdraw your application and where applicable we will refund your $100 application fee. We thank you again for your application to the University of Melbourne and wish you all the very best in your future endeavours.
