Bucket was sitting there with his mask and puppet-talkingto Bootsy, and Bootsy was going “Yeah man, yeah oh I get it! I got it I gotit!!” He was so in it, and when he needs to go to the bathroom he’s like askingthe puppet head and it was just gone. And I’m just sitting there and just going“What the…” You know. He’s like my best friend. I thinkwe just kinda said “It’s time that Brain you’re doing this thing now, I’m gonnago solo and do my thing”. But I have to say, he was and I still consider himone of my best friends. He doesn’t let too many people in. In Guns, thegreatest thing was that he would do the puppet thing and wore out the manager. There’smillions of dollars on the line, and he’s talking through a fucking puppet!! Sofinally he just went MIA, and the only way they could get ahold on him wasthrough me. That was kinda fun. At that point I was kinda like “whoa ok they getahold the main guy, keeping it together, Slash’s replacement, was to go throughme”. So I kinda felt like a big cock.

And I have a talenthere.” I think he knew he had a talent that people wanted, so he would justwear them out with, like, you couldn’t get ahold of him for like a month. We’regoing on tour. Is he coming? I don’t know if he’s gonna show up. I think theyactually have people like undercover cops checking him out. One time he called meand he’s all “Brain there’s a car out front and it’s been there like for threedays.” And I’m like “What!?” He’s like “Yeah I don’t know what’s going on.”,and this was before we were supposed to go on a major Guns N’Roses tour. I thinkthey’re wondering if he’s gonna come. We didn’t know what’s going on. So he wasparanoid and scared. He said, “OK, I’m gonna go out there with a mask”, and hehad a hatchet. – So he said he went out there with a mask and a hatchet, andjust stood next to the car like this (Laugh). They were just looking at him andthey just took off. So I think he was being followed. He never found out thetruth, but I think that’s how paranoid he – that’s the game he was playing. Becausehe was MIA for a month! “Where is bucket?” “I don’t know; I don’t know where he’sat.”

And there’s a hugetour coming on, and Haunted Mansion would come on, just like Disneyland. I thinkthe first time – he signed the contract with Axl in Disneyland.

Yeah he did. I mean how can you not love it? It was awesome,the greatest. Every time I was like “what mask is he gonna walk in this time?” Igot a picture of him, being swamped in Rock in Rio, coming off the bus with aFreddy Kruger mask on, and he is signing. That was his thing. It’s pretty good.
