四、魔猪王——特鲁夫·特鲁维斯
最早出自《库尔维奇与奥尔温》的倒霉野猪王特鲁夫·特鲁维斯。仔细想来，或许它也是一头王吧（笑）。在元典中成为库尔维奇做任务的牺牲品，而在型月中更是采用了库尔维奇中的梗，并将它谐化。并不是只有小贝等了王一千多年，还有特鲁夫啊！（不是），甚至将自己魔改成机械大猪，就是为了等到那位不列颠之王！多么的催人泪下啊！！（打死打死）好辣不皮辣，以下，就带大家来看看这头，不对，这位悲惨王者的前世今生吧w

HistoriaBrittonum
The earliest reference to the boar Trwythoccurs in a tract called De Mirabilibus Britanniae (or Mirabilia in shorthand),variously titled in English as "Wonders of Britain". The Mirabilia isbelieved to be near-contemporaneous to the 9th century HistoriaBrittonum and isfound appended to it in many extant manuscripts. It gives a list of marvelsaround Britain, one of them being the footprint left in rock by Arthur's dogCavall (here Latinized as Cabal), made while chasing the great boar (herecalled Troynt):

Culhwch and Olwen
Twrch is named as the son of Prince Tared(or TareddWledig), cursed into the form of a wild creature; he has poisonousbristles, and carries a pair of scissors, a comb and a razor on his headbetween his ears. In French romances such as by Chrétiende Troyes, Ares is the father of a knight called Tor. Some scholars consider thatTor son of Ares is the Twrch son of Tared of Culhwch and Olwen and that theauthentic name is probably Ares.

Culhwch is given the task by Ysbaddaden,the giant whose daughter Olwen Culhwch seeks, of obtaining the comb andscissors from Twrch's head. Later in the story it transpires there is also arazor secreted there. These implements are then to be used to cut and treat Ysbaddaden'shair (most of the tasks on the giant's long list are ultimately to do with thisceremony of hair-cutting). Further, Ysbaddaden states that the only hound whocan hunt Twrch is Drudwyn, the whelp of Greid, and then goes on to list therequirements of the leash to hold Drudwyn, the only man strong enough to holdthe leash. Ultimately Ysbaddaden calls on Culhwch to seek out Arthur, Culhwch'scousin, to help him hunt Twrch.

Prior to the hunt, Menw son of Teirgwaeddis sent to verify that the comb and scissors are between Twrch's ears. He takesthe form of a bird and flies to Twrch's lair, encountering the boar with sevenpiglets. Menw then tries to swoop down and snatch one of the implements fromTwrch's scalp, but only manages to take one silver bristle; Twrch is agitatedand shakes himself, scattering venom onto Menw, wounding him.

The hunt for Twrch takes up the greaterportion of the latter half of Culhwch and Olwen, and it is described in greatdetail the geographical route of the pursuit, and those who take active part init. Although it is Culhwch who is given the task, it is Arthur and his men whotake the most prominent role in the chase, Culhwch having successfully enlistedhis aid.
After causing the death of several ofArthur's troop, the boar surrenders the razor, scissors, and later the comb byforce, and he is driven into the sea off Cornwall and drowned.
Yet another boar, Ysgithyrwyn or"White-Tusk, Chief of Boars", had to be captured for its tusk tocomplete the grooming of Ysbadadden.

五、拥有知性的第四兽，灵长类杀手——凯西·帕鲁格
好啦终于到最后的压轴戏啦。相信这一只由王的同一声优配音的小家伙大家都不会陌生吧w在FATE中初登场于阿瓦隆之庭，作为梅林的使魔在故事的最后别惨无人道的丢下高塔（不是），在FGO中从入坑的第一天起就陪伴各位一直到现在，在第一部的终章以失去知性为代价拯救了玛修，我想应该不止我一个被他终章的独白搞得湿润了眼眶吧（可恶，明明是个爱往人胸上赚的坏家伙）。
在亚瑟文学中，它可以算是今天这些神奇动物中最早登场的。在早期的威尔士人的传说故事中就可以看到它的身影（嗯，对，它被凯哥打爆了←具体可以看第一期凯哥篇）
在FGO中，它或许成为这些神奇动物中谜团最大的一位，它虽然很可爱却名灾厄之兽，它虽与人类相处却是灵长类杀手，它看似只是一个萌物却有知性，他就是凯西·帕鲁格。

Cath Palug
Cath Palug, also Cath Paluc, Cath Balug,Cath Balwg, literally "Palug's cat", was a monstrous cat in Welsh legend,given birth in Gwynedd by the Henwen the pig of Cornwall; the cat was later tohaunt the Isle of Anglesey, and said to have killed 180 warriors when Sir Kaywent to hunt it on the island.

A cat analogous to Chapalu (though not mentioned by name)is eradicated by Arthur in the Vulgate cycle's prose Estoire de Merlin.

Etymology
词源
In the name Cat Palug may mean "scratchingcat", but this is just one of a range of possible meanings.

The word palug (paluc) is theorized to havea common pal- stem, which may mean: "hit, strike" "cut,lop" "scratch, claw", or even "dig, pierce".
Chapalu, the French form can be broken downinto chat "cat" + palu "bog", hence "the bogcat"; and in the Anglo-Norman poem (see §Li Romanzdes Franceis) Chapalu and palu are connected in the story (the words areend-rhymed in the couplet).

Aquatic nature
It was a sort of fish-cat which was thekiller of King Arthur (and thus analogous to the chapalu) in a fragmentaryGerman poem (§Manuel und Amande). The monstrous cat ofLausanne, which was the analogue in the Vulgate Merlin started out as a blackkitten caught by a fisherman in his net.
The Cath Palug is always localised nearbywater ; lake of Bourget and Lake of Geneva in France, the sea in Wales (See §Localisation).

Cath Palug's birth origins are given in"The Powerful Swineherds" in the Welsh Triads (Trioedd Ynys Prydain,end of the 13th century).
According to this source, it started lifeas a black kitten (lit "whelp"), given birth by the great white sowHenwen at the black rock in Llanfair (cy). There the kitten was cast into thesea, but it crossed the Menai Strait and was found on Ynys M?n (Angelsey),where the sons of Palug raised it, not realizing Cath Palug was to become oneof the three great plagues of the island.

Pa Gur
Cath Palug was fought and slain by Cai (SirKay), or so it is implied, in the incomplete poem "Pa Gur yv yPorthaur" ("What man is the porter"), found in the Llyfr DuCaerfyrddin (The Black Book of Carmarthen, written before 1250). Kay had goneto destroy lleown (possibly meaning "lions") in M?n (Anglesey). Inthe encounter, nine score (180) warriors were killed by the cat.
The fragmentary poem states that Kay'sshield is mynud against the cat, which has been construed in various ways, butplausibly interpreted as "polished against Palug's cat".Thisdescription coincides with the Middle English story in the Lambeth ms., inwhich Arthur raises a shield (presumably mirrored) causing the cats to attacktheir own shadows reflected in it.
