Van Damme fans: Bloodsport is the best Van Damme movie ever!
29.11.2008. Since 2007 visitors of FanDamme.net could rate the movies of Jean-Claude van Damme. Each month two movies were selected and a total of 9376 votes were cast.
'Bloodsport' is rated as Jean-Claude's best movie: a 9.7! Bloodsport was also the movie with the most number of votes: 387!
The results of the poll makes clear that Van Damme's first movies are still the most popular, as the list continues with Kickboxer (9.5), Double Impact (9.3), Universal Soldier (9.3), Lionheart (9.2) and Hard Target (9.1)

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) -- Belgian action actor Jean-Claude Van Damme is being treated for substance abuse.
His publicist confirms that Van Damme is in a program at Daniel Freeman Hospital in the Los Angeles County suburb of Marina delRey.
The star of Universal Soldier and Death Warrant checked himself into the hospital's 30-day treatment program on Saturday.

"Jean-Claude was back on set within a few hours eager to begin filming."
Rourke proved to be the most unpredictable of the superstars.
"You never know what Mickey is going to do or when. He's a method actor so he needs to feel the moment before he'll begin acting and he gives you what the moment creates for him," explains Hark.
Rourke had quite a surprise for everyone when it came to filming his fight scene with Van Damme.
"It was the first time Mickey took off his shirt. He'd been working out for months and he'd developed quite an incredible chest that he'd kept hidden. Of course, we had to use it. Mickey knew that and so he had already decided how the final scene should be restaged."
Rodman proved to be the set clown and peacemaker.
"Dennis began imitating Mickey preparing for his scenes. We thought Mickey would be angry, but he thought it was hilarious, so Jean-Claude began to imitate him, too. I knew the ice had been broken when these three strong personalities were laughing and joking amongst themselves."
Hark admits he was apprehensive when he learned Rodman would be making his acting debut on Double Team.
"They were giving me a basketball star for a very important role. I didn't know what I could expect from him so for the first few days I just choreographed him into some action scenes.
"He's very athletic, so he had no problems. I wasn't sure the same would be true when we threw some dialogue at him but he was a natural.
"I think Dennis is going to have a real movie career."

LOUIS B. HOBSON报道，香港导演徐克全心全意拍摄这部叫《反击王》的动作片。
这个恐怖与反恐怖的故事昨天公开了，尚格云顿、米基·洛克、篮球巨星丹尼斯·罗德曼也亮相了。
当被问到如何评价者这几位明星时，徐克说：“我有一个肮脏的，一个驯良的，还有一个我们从不知道它喜欢什么。”
你开始猜测之，其实徐克是说三只用来拍摄高潮部分的孟加拉虎。
当他开始谈论三位备受争议的明星时，仍用老虎做比喻。
“尚格云顿最为情绪化，我意识到他的个人生活中发生了什么事情影响了他的情绪。”徐克回忆说。
电影拍完后不久，尚格云顿进了戒毒所。
“尚格云顿快速、有力，体格也很棒，但他还是太紧张了。他把自己弄得过于严肃，他应该让自己的性格更温和更幽默，这正是成龙的秘诀。”
在一个漂亮的动作场景中，尚格云顿和中国特技师熊欣欣对打。尚格云顿对打斗中中国武师有多实在没有准备，熊欣欣的教踢到了他的嘴，结果他上嘴唇被缝了四针。
徐克承认：“尚格云顿不得不被送到医院，我们都吓坏了。我们都想他会很生气，不愿再和熊欣欣合作了。”

“你绝不可能知道米基什么时候会干什么，他是个有条理的演员，所以他表演前要感受需要表演的时刻，而且他会给你那时刻给他建立的东西。”徐克解释说。
洛克在拍和尚格云顿的对打戏时让所有人大吃一惊。
“米基第一次脱下衬衫时，他已经努力锻炼了几个月，他一直隐藏着的胸肌也有难以置信的增长。当然，这对我们来说也很有用。米基知道这些，所以他已经决定如何拍最后的决战。
罗德曼被证明是个小丑和和事佬
“罗德曼开始模仿米基准备他的戏时，我们以为米基会生气。可米基觉得这挺好玩，于是尚格云顿也开始模仿他。我知道当这三个壮汉互相开玩笑时，他们之间的隔阂也被打破。”
徐克承认，当他知道这次是罗德曼第一次演戏时曾感到担心。
“他们给了我一个篮球明星来演一个重要角色。我不知道能从他身上期望什么，所以最初几天我只是为他的动作场面设计动作。”
“他运动能力很强，所以没有任何问题。当我们担心一些他的对话时，我不确定这些同样会成真，但他的表演很自然。”
“我认为罗德曼会有真正的电影生涯的。”
