A priest is a religious leader and spiritual guide in the Christian faith. They are ordained by a bishop to serve the church and its people. Priests are responsible for leading worship services, administering sacraments, preaching sermons, teaching doctrine, counseling individuals and families, providing spiritual guidance, and performing other duties as assigned by their bishop. In English, they are typically referred to as "Father" or "Reverend."
